A comment recieved fro someone who attended:
I thought that hundreds would want to hear what Peter Davies had to say and presumed that we would have 'missed the boat' as I didn't respond immediately. It was in fact my wife who urged me to attend and then decided to come with me too. Behind every man...! We had always been Cons. voters as we both have small businesses but were increasingly frustrated by 'New Tory' and their attempt to please all the people all the time (aping 'New Labour') but failing miserably. Some of the quotes mentioned last night really opened her eyes to their hypocrisy over Europe and brought her firmly 'on-side' too. We helped ourselves to some leaflets; such is my evangelistic fervour after last night that I now have a stack prominently displayed on my counter.
I do have a feeling that the time is ripe for change and that we are about to witness a major change in peoples' attitude to politics and the three main parties, partly because of our natural outrage at their lack of decency and honesty (or 'piss-taking', sorry, but that's the best way to express it) and a real desire for change; there is not one person that I have spoken to about the English Democrats that has not thought the policies are sound and the cause noble. Trouble is, it takes an awful lot of time, effort and money to change voting habits, doesn't it!
God bless you in your endeavours; right will prevail eventually, don't lose heart.
All best wishes,... Read more

By his own admission, Peter Davies would make a dreadful Foreign Secretary. Aside from the fact that he has never been in a plane and has been abroad only once (a four-day break to Paris in 1988), diplomacy is not his forte.

Hello Mr Tilbrook,

I would like to bring to your attention the plight that the people of my estate and i are in or will be in, I would like to start by giving you the basic facts.I live in an area called Highfield which is in the borough of Bolton, although not the best place to live it certainly is not the worst, we ar...e a close nit community were we tend to look after each other and to a certain extent police our selves by this i mean we make sure the old folk are safe and the younger ones we steer away from hard drugs at the hub of this community is our local pub which is called the Flying Shuttle, it is a place where people meet not just to drink but to help each other, it is basically the heart beat of the area. recently we the community have been informed that the brewery has decided to sell the pub we have also been informed that the brewery have found a buyer who intends turning the pub into an balti house...This will kill the community....HELP US....Read more

Mr Cameron also condemned the "ignorance" of English people about Scots and Scotland and the "embarrassing" English insensitivity on matters ranging from the acceptability of Scottish banknotes to "the inevitable aggressive Glaswegian drunk" in TV programmes...

Same here Dave. My paternal great grandfather was a Highland jock in the Black watch. My grandfather was from N.I. and in the R.U.R. I have cousins in Wales and obviously family in N.I.. I most probably have family in scotland to. My dad is English, my mum is English and I! I am not a quarter this, that or the other; I am English through and through. If people do not like that they can stick it!

I find Cameron offensive. His pomposity gets under my skin. Stating that though, I also find Brown, Blair, Clegg, Prescott, and various other political idiots offensive.
