Roots Manuva On Saturday 18th October at Shepherd’s Bush Empire will be hosting the London date on the current UK tour. In keeping with the sound of his new album, "Slime & Reason," the show will built around a soundsystem feel, focussing more on electronics, dub and crashing beats than the live band sound he employed last time out.... The show will be a journey through fistfuls of classic Manuva tracks plus ample material from the new album.

Concert Live will also be doing their thing. What, you may be wondering, is that thing? Well, Roots Manuva and his band of merry musicians will be making beautiful music. And Concert Live will be recording the concert with love and care, burning it onto CDs, packaging it in nice CD cases with special art and selling it to you on your way out the door.

In fact, even if you’re not going to be there you can buy the CD – not like that, just like that. I’m not even making any sense but what I’m trying to say is that you can get it ONLINE. From their WEBSHOP. Either before or after the date – although obviously if you get it before you won’t actually get it till after.

Anyway, it’s the future (or the past, depending on whether you buy it before or after the actual gig, natch) and it’s happening NOW.
