Welcome to Skynet Research? Welcome to the future? You’d almost think it was inevitable. As an avid robotics enthusiast, I was excited to receive a Model 101 Enhancement Module from Skynet Research. While hooking it up, I realized I was in a little over my head and called the technical support number, finding only a ...maze of computerized messages and vague explanations. Upon further investigation I found that Skynet Research has no headquarters, no owners, no structure of any kind. Pretty strange for a robotics company that claims to have several multi-billion dollar military contracts. These alarming facts started me on what would soon become a long, strange and eventually frightening exploration of Skynet Research. Weeks later mysterious videos started appearing in my media folder. At first there were only garbled images accompanied by garbled audio... something about a "Techcom" unit extraction and a man named Lt. James Walker. But soon we were receiving clearer images - a group of guerrilla soldiers constantly under attack, living like animals in some sort of industrial complex. Did we hear them say they were being tracked by something called a "hunter killer"? Then today (4/15/09), everything clicked. Another video was sent, telling of a "possible future" in which Skynet had launched a massive nuclear attack on all of humanity. How Walker and his team have been beaming information to us from 2018, I have no idea. But the warning is clear. We must stop Skynet. We must fight for humanity! Welcome to the future indeed.
