Our Primary school used to have great school meals, but in the summer the canteen was torn out to be upgraded. The work was supposed to be done over the summer hols, but it wasn't, its still not done and will not be back to normal until next Easter. In the mean time the kids are getting food shipped in from another school, Hot dogs, beef burgers, ... See Morechicken burgers, chips.... I kid you not, its like going back to the Dark ages. I don't blame the school, I blame the education authority in this instance. Who at the same time have the gall to enforce a healthy eating policy on packed lunches and children's breaks...

So perhaps Hugh, you could give them a wooden spoon award for coming in last...

Soil Association The 515 chemicals women put on their bodies every day

www.dailymail.co.uk
According to a new report, most of our favourite cosmetics are cocktails of industrially produced and potentially dangerous chemicals that could damage our health.
Laura

Women shouldn't put these products on their bodies in the name of beauty. The increased pressure by the media to "look" a certain way, is unhealthy.
All of these chemicals, have long been documented to cause significant detrimental health effects; why isn't their use discouraged by the media?
