Senator Lieberman is threatening to filibuster health care reform. By becoming a fan now, you are pledging to donate to his opponent in 2012, if he follows through on this threat. We are not looking for donations ourselves, nor will we accept them. But when 2012 rol⋯⋯ls around, and his opponents have announced, we will remind you of your pledge, tell you which opponents are supportive of health care reform (with a public option) and ask you to follow through with them directly. $50 or higher is the suggested amount, but all we ask is that you pledge what you think you could actually give. Lower is fine, if $50 would cause a hardship, but if you can go higher, than please do. (FYI, in determining total projected pledges, we are using an estimate of $50 on average per pledger. Yes, some will be lower, and some will probably flake altogether. But... some will be higher, and out of the group as a whole, there will be undoubtedly be a few who will max out at $2,300+. And each $2,300 donor makes up for 45 pledgers who flake) One final note -- please show your passion, intensity, humor, etc., through your comments, but... no threats, please, even in jest.
