Disney and Marvel announced this morning that the Walt Disney Company will acquire Marvel Entertainment in a stock and cash deal valued at $4 billion. The agreement calls for Disney to pay Marvel shareholders $30 per share in cash plus Disney shares worth roughly another $20 per share.

Fingers crossed. We are again among the top 20 stores eligible for a Shuster Award out of 348 stores in Canada. The powers that be are now narrowing it down to 5 and then finally 1 well deserved store. What award? This is for the Harry Kramer award for Most Outstanding Canadian Comic Retailer.

A huge and enormously big thank you to both Taylor Latour & Greg Milne for the Superawesomistic photos. “Superawesomistic” is not a word but it should be, as I think it would describe these photos perfectly.

Lucky fans joined us for a great time at the Rio Theater and geeked out with Star Trek! Thanks to Toren from 2ND LEVEL WIZARDS for putting together such a great event. We had a great time.
We saw some animated Star Trek followed by a Klingon Rap Battle, Fan Film Chains of Betrayal, Poetry Slam, Orion Slave Girl Dance, C...ostume Contest, The episode Space Seed, Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan & then the new movie!
