START Another New Blog Post has just been published on the START Website, posted by Mr. Jesse Ayivor & Prof. Chris Gordon, of the University of Ghana, a START Regional Node for Wetlands and Coastal Zone Management. The post describes the first science policy dialogue for the EU/UNEP funded “Integrating Climate Change Adapta...tion and Mitigation in Development Planning” project. The workshop attracted 60 participants from 8 countries, including representatives from the Ghana Parliamentary Select Committee on Environment and Science, Natural Resource Management Professionals, Officials from Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Members of the National Climate Change Committee, the Media and Members of the University Community.

START START New Blog Post on the START Website, posted by 2009/2010 ACCFP Fellow, Arame Tall, discussing the Workshop she recently organized in Dakar, Senegal. The Workshop brought together 14 Scientists from all over Senegal with 30 Red Cross Volunteers to analyze ways to better use forecasts for disaster preparedness.
