About Scott Campbell
Scott Campbell (also known as just Scott C) is a painter and creator of comics. He is the creator of the online comic DOUBLE FINE ACTION COMICS. Scott is also a contributor to anthologies including HICKEE, PROJECT SUPERIOR, and FLIGHT. His watercolor paintings are that of curious little people and creatures enjoying each others company and having adventures. Sometimes they have no adventures at all and just relax. His work has been shown in places like London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Montreal, Japan, and Portland. Some of his Illustration work includes the King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters DVD cover and the cover for MC Frontalots record FINAL BOSS. He is also the Art and Concepts director for Double Fine Productions, a video game developer responsible for Psychonauts and Brutal Legend.

Scott Campbell currently lives in New York, NY and works from his home.


About Leontine Greenberg
Leontine Greenberg lives in Jackson Heights, Queens with her husband, daughter and two cats. Her work has been shown at galleries around the country, including ThinkSpace Gallery, Gallery 1988 and C.A.V.E. Gallery in Los Angeles, and MyPlasticHeart in New York. She is inspired by other people's flickr streams, rooftops, the coming environmental apocalypse, and the children's book section of the Strand Bookstore.Read more

Join us on Halloween eve October 30th from 7-9PM for the release of the Gordo : Blue Orchid Edition. Creator Brent Nolasco will be on hand to sign, sketch and chat all evening. A limited number of Gordos will be available at the release event with the remaining figures made available online at myplasticheart.com on 11/...02 at 1PM EST.

Refreshments and treats will be served and every person who attends the event in a Halloween costume receives a free "Ghostly" blind box figure*.

"Just off of Main Street, in every town, lives a foraging monster, named Gordo. You can find him standing over a box of leftovers, fishing out that last crumb, and licking the containers dry. His will to eat overcomes his need to stop, always chasing the next tasty snack. Backyards and garbage cans are his buffet. After a long day of gorging, he falls into a food coma, only to awake hungry and repeat the cycle. His stomach is a bottomless pit. Who knows what he will eat next."

About the artist

Dino Alberto is a freelance illustrator and character designer in new york city. he has worked on numerous projects for clients such as mtv, nickelodeon, curious pictures, worldwide biggies and mimoco. his cute and sometimes esoteric creatures have found homes in paintings and short films as well as a variety of publications. Recent and ongoing projects include: Illustrations for the upcoming book, Football Heroes Gold, Mimobot flash drives for Mimoco, music videos for PT Walkley, and designing for Team Umizoomi, a new preschool math curriculum show for Nickelodeon due out next year. dino loves his npr, is obsessed with all things small and compact and has a weakness for obscenely salty popcorn. he also finds the utmost comfort and happiness in a nice piece of crispy bacon. dino hopes to one day apply his quirky designs to his own animated show as well as publish an illustrated cookbook for children.Read more

We're about due for another trading party huh? We will have mini raffles throughout the evening so if you want to get involved here are the rules:

- 1 raffle ticket will be given for every 5 Blind Boxes purchased (at $6 or more each) at our NYC retail store.

- There is no limit on how many raffle tickets you can acquire.

- Raffle tickets will qualify you for all the raffles for the evening so the earlier you get your tickets the better chance you have to win!

- Prizes will be announced at the event.
