please be vigilant we lack lighting, quality high def shooting and more than 4 actors but this short show's a ruff, sketch idea of how the series would be like.

thanks phil, luke, gareth and karl. i appreciate your input into the film. i have some news in regards to the project. we've just been talking to 2 production companys within london, the idea may not come out as a film but rather a 2 part tv drama. mainly for budget, greenlighting it and actually getting people to see ...it. a lot of british films seem to never see light of day in mainstream cinema, rather if made into a tv drama, could be made to be a major epic series on national tv.

we hope of course, not contract has been given yet and it's still at the talking stage.

remember people.....be vigilant.

thanks ty (love the nose by the way).

this is a problem I faced with a producer at the bbc, who brought both those films up and the current superhero genre controlling the film industry. these films the brave one, death sentence and outlaw have been written as movies like a Charles Bronson flick. they have the idea but ...seem to get lost in making a action film, leaving out the core of the story and why someone would go to this level. I’ve watched all of these movies because I was interested in seeing any comparisons. I found them enjoyable but I didn't really care about the characters, which defeats the object because that’s the point to making you feel for the person on the screen and the tragedy which drives the story. Tax driver changed peoples view of new york and saw a new light within society, I didn’t get that from outlaw.Read more

if I would have to admit anything, I would say this film more resembles the comic book vigilante type. a heroes struggle and against his society, but without the fantasy element. this film takes that concept and makes it real, turns it almost into a channel 4 documentary on the big screen but still with a little style ...and edge.

you may say there’s already a film like that...batman begins. a comic book character, a masked vigilante, a realistic portrayal of a fictional character, grounded routes set within a real world parameter. if I made 5% of what that film is I would be swinging from the trees...but I don't have $150 million budget nor a much loved pop icon.

are aim is not to make another British gangster movie. it's a film about a major city like London, horrific crimes which seem to have become the norm, and what would a average Joe do if all these things happened to him. would he snap? would she hide away? or would you do something about it. this guy's not a killer, he ...isn't john Rambo running around shooting people with a machine gun in bars with Italian mafias. he's me or you, he just wants to make a difference within his own world. to send a message.

i made the decision that the vigilante would not use guns in the film because 1st it you become a murderer and that’s a whole different ball game there. 2nd it attracts the police and you wouldn't last 5 minutes in a major city running around shooting people. 3rd the character wants to make it personal and come up close to these people. 4th I wouldn't want to make a film which is anti gun when the main character is using such items.
