What damage has the CBC done to his reputation that his own actions haven't already?

He got away with Murder and ruined the reputation of the RCMP world wide. Canada should sue him for tarnishing our countries reputation.

to be fair, if he feels he has been maligned, he has the right to a fair trial - oh wait...

... see the thing is when the rest of us kill somebody - WE GO TO JAIL...

And this guy feels the embarassment he suffered is too much???

The problem here is the culture in the police forces..

Read "An Unauthorized History Of The RCMP" by Lorne and Caroline Brown, published in 1974. The myths about Mountie prowess are all dissected there.

Why is he still employed exactly? If he can't control his actions then he has no business doing the job. I don't think the CBC did anything but report the news.

Its a bad day for the Cdn legal profession. Millington's lawyer needs to be called on this one too.

The only thing that damaged his reputation was his own actions. Apparantly that trend is continuing.

We don't need CBC's coverage to publicly ridicule him. It's all on tape buddy!

Mr Congram;
No-one is one the hunt for this officer's blood, as you put it.

They are offended that Millington has shown his unmitigated contempt of the basic concept of justice in his attempt to sue the CBC for doing its job - i.e. reporting what was accepted by the courts as the FACTS of his actions....including fabricating evidence in order to cover up what he did.
If anything, those who have posted here are defending the CBC from this ourageous publicity stun. The really sad thing is, that no matter the outcome, it'll be us taxpayers who end up footing the bill.

The only person who should feel any shame is Kwesi Millington - it is HE who is a huge discredit to the RCMP in particular, and to the entire population of Canada, in general.

I wish CBC had been able to permanently end his career. The day I am arrested by someone who tasers me to death first and asks questions later, I hope I have CBC on my side.

What about the other 5 or so officers who stood there...I miss the days when words were more powerful than inanimate weapons....

Kwesi--You are a disgrace to the RCMP, justice and yourself. Just watch the video of your testimony, in your own words, and you'll see what I'm talking about. May you, once again, suffer an appropriate judgement in the halls of (civil) court. If you are worried about embarrassment and distress, stop talking.

If he can sue the CBC for making him look bad... can the RCMP sue him for making them look bad? I'd call that fair.
