Okay I know that there are terrible things going on in this world. I do hope that these weather realted issues are getting the assistance needed. I have a cause which is very close to my heart; not taking away from HIV/AIDS, Breast Cancer, etc. But I have recently lost my 2 year old grandson to Neuroblastoma. When I found out there is no funding for research for this terrible, painful death sentence for babies/toddlers; this cancer. Most of the time this cancer isn't found until "Stage 4", which is too late. The doctors have borrowed from other cancer treatments to try and prolong the quality of their life. 900 babies and toddlers die each year from Neuroblastoma and we don't know how many go undiagnoised. This is a horrible cancer; all these babies know is fear, illness, pain and death. I am truely ashamed that our politicians have not responded to the cry for help with research funding. I just don't get it we can throw money away on bailouts, etc. I wonder if it is just because they don't vote or as President Obama says "not in the productive group of society (15-45 years)." Please help me carry this needed cause and contact your Congressman, Senator, Govenor or whomever you think can help with this cause. May God smile upon you and may no other babies suffer this horrible death. Dana Rupper, Katy TX
