Paulo Coelho Do we need to look younger? A lot of money and energy is wasted in trying to stop the time. People don't understand that there is only one alternative to avoid getting old: to die. Welcome to discuss (PORT/ENG/ESP/FRA) with friends and readers: http://bit.ly/37gNiY

There is nothing wrong with beauty, but, why do we need to look younger then we are? Botox, silicon, gyms… Gyms are ok if you want to make some exercices but… body building? I have some friends that spend hours in the gym just to pretend to be younger.

Dear Paulo,
It... See More’s amazing how facebook could connect two people who would have never met otherwise! I thank God for being here at this time and age. I have read your books but the Alchemist is still my favorite. I am amazed how skillfully you have said the things that are so deep within us that we hardly ever know its existence. Please keep on writing; never stop for the world will not be same without it.

Re: Despair, I have had my stint with it many a times and still do. I think we are so much wanting to be like someone else all the time, say the size zero model on the telly or the new entrepreneur etc that we have lost ourselves on the way. We invite despair to ourselves and then faf around trying to find our way out! We need to be saved; we need a new Avatar of God to bring us back to faith.

I like Kierkegaard cynical side when he says "Old age realizes the dreams of youth: look at Dean Swift; in his youth he built an asylum for the insane, in his old age he was himself an inmate"

Paulo Coelho Save the planet? Al Gore is making USD 1 billion from his "cruzade". This discussion should not be taken lightly, using alarmism and manipulation. http://bit.ly/47WJGF

Al Gore says he is putting his money where his mouth is by investing in green technology, but critics say he’s profiteering.

With his 1988 novel “The Alchemist” among the most-widely read novels of all time, Paulo Coelho is a publisher’s dream – except for the fact he doesn't mindgiving away his books for free.
