There are to a certain degree, "Social" aspects, but essentially gaining pleasure from killing, blood and extracting torturous pain IS PSYCHOPATHIC and NOT NORMAL. Psychopathy IS NOT CLASS CONSCIOUS, ITS INDIVIDUAL EVIL NATURE. Im a counsellor and psychologist as well as an animal lover. Anyone read roald Dahls the magic finger, where the birds change place with the humans? NOW That would be justice.

I bet there are more people in the country that are anti-hunt than anyone thinks, but like you say they're just afraid to speak up. I used to work in the heart pro-hunt country in a village called longworth, near Oxford. My boss at the time was anti-hunt and his house backed on to a hunt kennels. Told me some horrible things about what went on ... See Morethere and also told me that the village was split 50:50 pro:anti, which gave me heart as I'd always just assumed that country people were pro - that's what's always put me off supporting countryside issues!

I agree, Mandy. The only real 'vermin' or 'pests' on the planet is the human race with the wholesale destruction we have caused to the environment and to other species. We, as a species, think we are above all other living things and that we have a 'right' to destroy them when we don't. We breed like a virus to the exclusion of all else.
The nasty, vile Countryside Alliance are a prime example of the human race's arrogance and unpleasantness.

I'm totally sickened by A A Gill, the food critic of The Sunday Times, who shot dead a baboon last week "to get a sense of what it might be like to kill someone". People like him make me despair of humanity.
