How to join Progress Thru Processors:
  • Click the "Download the Application" button above, then click "Allow" on the Allow Access page.
  • On the registration page, choose the projects you want to donate to and specify Mac or Windows.
  • On the download page, click the button to download the Progress Thru Processors desktop software.
  • Once the download is complete, run the installer.
  • When the installation is complete, you'll automatically return to the Progress Thru Processors application homepage on Facebook.
How Progress Thru Processors works:
  • When your computer is idle, the application will direct your computer’s spare processor power to fuel life-changing research.
  • The application will activate only when your PC's performance is not being fully utilized. When your computer usage demands more processor power, the Progress Thru Processors application defers and sits idle until spare processing capabilities become available again.
  • Progress Thru Processors may not work within some corporate IT environments. Please check with your companies' IT department prior to installing Progress Thru Processors on a work computer.
