Queensland Writers Centre Whilst the Q150 Steam Train writing project ended in August, we're delighted that SLQ has produced a digital story that looks at Nick Earls' journey on board the train... both in 2009 and on the original train in the early 90s with the likes of Thea Astley, Tim Winton, Estelle Pinney, Thomas Keneally and many others.

This tide of change has been brought about thanks to the web and the rise of digital media. Claims abound of the 'death of journalism'. But is the... web really killing the news?
