Comic Relief: Red Nose Day 2009

Comic Relief: Red Nose Day 2009 Watch this video to see how Kimberley, Gary, Fearne, Chris and Ben got on with distibuting malaria nets to thousands of families on their second day in Uganda.

In March this year nine celebrities undertook the mammoth challenge of climbing the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Comic Relief. Celeb envy I think, they did a great job, and as someone who would love to be fit enough to climb a mountain again, I salute them for doing it and raising so much money! The fact that Gary Barlow has also supported Children in Need shows he means business, it is not just a one off so people will think he is wonderful, he wants to help people less fortunate than he is!!! Give them a break, we all need people like them to raise money for many charities!

Comic Relief: Red Nose Day 2009

Comic Relief: Red Nose Day 2009 After a night’s kip and a very long drive, Fearne, Gary, Kim and Ben arrived in a town called Hoima where Malaria is the number one killer of children. They went to a warehouse to find 200,000 mosquito nets which isn’t even half of the nets that your Red Nose Day cash will pay for in this area! The team have now loade...d 8,000 nets onto a lorry, ready for distribution tomorrow. If you want to follow their every move as they make it, follow us on twitter at http://twitter.com/rednoseday2009 and you’ll get to see live pictures too – like this one here.
