I had to post it in sections, it was too long. I only wish I could personally "Thank" Captain Sully. God, changed my life through Captian Sully, and the passengers on that faithful flight. I just had to share something with all of you, that have an intrest in "The Miracle on the Hudson"...It truely WAS a Miracle that day. You see.....Its my Testimony! I am from a small town in SE Kansas. This was I will never forget. EVER! God talked to me that day. In a BIG way.Jan. 15th was a horrible day for me, ti...red-- at the end of my rope, my marriage had collapesed and between dealing with that and tryin to keep it together for 3 kids....I was emotionally, physically and financially broke.......I had made alot of bad decissions, and those do eventually catch up with you...and had not been honest with myself or God for a long long time....With no where else to turn, that day I got on my knees and prayed to God out loud. I confessed all my sins, I repented and asked for God to forgive me. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior, my heart was truely open for the first time in a long long time.....Read more

Pete Emmert Even after the length of time that has gone by since you flew that bird into the river, you & you co-pilot are still "the Men", A landing is nothing short of a "controlled Crash onto terrain" well you proved to be capable of this on water! much harder to do, I tried it on my flight sim without success.

Sherry Marsh Just watched a TV special on the crash into the Hudson .... we can't really call it a crash can we? Captain Sullenberger LANDED that plane in the Hudson. Thank you for giving us a feeling of hope and another reason to give thanks everyday. There are 140+ families that will having a better Thanksgiving because of you, Captain Sully.

I live in Brooklyn Ny, Im not much of a television person. i heard this news on the radio..i got really nervous,i put the T.V on.i saw this big plane on the water..i freaked out.i bit my nails i was crying. i was a mess. I thank God i wasnt inside the plane. i would've died of a massive heart attack. lol..... i thank... God your all alive.... i also think someone should name a hero sandwich after you.. It would be can i have a hero, which one Capt.Sullenberger please..Happy Thanksgiving capt.
