Jazz è ormai un parolone privo di significato. Quando uno mi dice:- mi piace il jazz - evito di chiedergli cosa gli piace veramente perch... Read moreè una musica che va da Louis Armstrong a Steve Colemann, passando da Ornette, Gillespie e John Coltrane, è talmente varia e differente che non può essere racchiusa in un unico contenitore. C'è gente che per jazz intende il bebop, altri che considerano merda tutto ciò che è stato dopo Bix. C'è gente che adora il Davis di We Want Miles e c'è chi lo odia e la verità è che comunque siamo sempre di fronte a una musica "non per tutti" sia che a suonarla sia Armostrong sia che sia Steve Colemann. Il resto conta poco... quel che conta è lo spirito col quale si suona e, ovviamente, quello col quale si ascolta. Ho apprezzato molto il tuo post!
