Are you aged 16-25 years old and interested in making videos?
Tate is working with the Strangerfestival team to run a series of video workshops to help you produce your own 1-5 minute video art work.
We're looking for 10 young people who have some experience of making videos but you're welcome as long as you're interest...ed in developing your own video art work. If you have your own video camera then please bring it along but we will provide some video cameras during the workshops.
We'll begin by looking at moving image and video based art works and use the Tate Modern's collection as inspiration. We'll also help you develop your ideas and introduce you some editing techniques in Final Cut Pro.
One person from the group will be selected to go to the StrangerAcademy in Amsterdam on the 14-17 October 2009.

Part 2
Friday 7th August & Saturday 8th August - 10.30 - 16.30pm
On Saturday 1st August there will be screening of the StrangerFestival videos from 2008 at the BFI, check the BFI website for further details.
The workshops will take place at Tate Modern in McAulay Studio A.
