Supermarket giant Tesco is to start selling the iPhone on its Tesco Mobile platform. The retailer will offer both the iPhone 3GS and the older iPhone 3G to customers in a joint venture with network provider O2. It will be sold through Tesco phone shops and on the Tesco Direct website.

O2 runs tescos network - so will be worse than Orange initially although o2 are putting up new masts in London this yr and the rest of the uk next. The price is held up by Apple not O2 or Tesco - they still want their pound of flesh whichever network u are on!
