Earlier today, the plane that was flying The Kooks from Munich to Warsaw was struck by lightning mid-flight. There was no electrical failure but the plane was forced to turn around and return to Munich to have the exterior haul checked for damage.
Luckily, The Kooks are all still intact and tomorrow’s appearance at Open’er Festival in Poland will be going ahead.

A massive apology to all Kooks fans hoping to see the band at Peace and Love festival this Thursday, however Luke has a chest infection and has been advised by doctors to rest until he has recovered. The band are very sad to be missing the festival and hope to make it up to all Kooks fans in Sweden when possible.
