Hornby, just a short distance from Lancaster is another of those idyllic villages nestled in the very beautiful forest of Bowland. The short drive from the M6 is like a scene from Postman Pat and the approach into the village with Hornby Castle dominating the hillside is quite breathtaking. ...

So we headed off south to Hereford for the first of the last four gigs of the tour. Interesting and historic town, Hereford. The home of the SAS, the birthplace of Nell Gwynne, even Elgar bought his shoes here!
