Woodland Trust Campaigns Check out our WoodWatch page for local news coverage of our response to the A46 issue - http://facebook.com/woodwatch (although we were slightly misprepresented again!)

The Woodland Trust woods and trees under threat team constantly campaign to protect ancient woodland and ancient trees. Irreplaceable ancient woods and ancient trees are under threat from development across the whole of the UK. Tell us about any threats to an ancient wood or tree and take action yourself to stop the destruction.

Our trees will be in London with hundreds of our coalition friends and their supporters - will you join us! ?

This peaceful, family-friendly, organised event is to show support to our world leaders to attend the climate talks at Copenhagen, where we want them to agree a strong, fair and fast deal that will protect ALL... old growth forests from destruction and degradation and help us meet the challenges our of changing natural world.

We will walk down the Embankment towards Westminster where at 3pm we will encircle Parliament and show our support for the talks at the global conference 7th-18th. Transport is being arranged from all over the UK by the coalition; our friends in Wales are coming to London and our friends in Scotland will be marching in Glasgow.

More news soon - please RSVP on facebook and you can also email campaigns@woodlandtrust.org.uk to get planning updates, the route and more info.

Very excited! Hope to see you!
