PAINTED ALCOVE DISPLAY CABINETS WITH ARCHED TOPS & GLASS SHELVES

This is an exquisite piece of cabinet making. Curved work is always time-consuming and highly skilled using traditional methods of cabinet making. Our client required a pair of bespoke alcove cabinets to be handcrafted to fit into the existing spaces perfectly and this is exactly what we did.
... Arched or square
The pair of alcove display cabinets doors require all the glazing bars to be individually hand-cut and fitted separately. The architrave surrounding the glass display cabinets finishes short of the ceiling to accentuate the beautiful plaster coving which is just above the top of the display cabinet.
Oak or painted interiors
The lower section of the alcove cabinets has a single solid oak shelf and is also fully lined in oak veneer. The raised and fielded beaded panel doors have been carefully fitted with traditional solid brass hinges and finished with ornate brass doorknobs.

This wardrobe was designed for a children’s room. The two children sharing the bedroom wanted their own section for their specific clothes. The bespoke custom-made wardrobe is based on a classic design but with a contemporary twist to it. The wardrobe demonstrates what we call our chamfered trim, top and bottom.
