We fancied a Sunday roast bit didn't want to cook so we drove over to the New Calley Arms. I had the three roast option. Lovely meal great roasties with nicely cooked veg. Would have given it a 5* but... they only had Bread and Butter pudding and Strawberry Cheesecake left on the pudding menu, neither appealed. .

Despite this we'll be visiting again.

Another amazing roast at The New Calley Arms. Beef was cooked to perfection and the roasties and veg were delicious. There were also some lovely specials for my friend who wasn't in the mood for a! Lovely and cosy with the fire blazing... perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. See more

Met friends for lunch and chose this place as it’s exactly half way between us. Really nice pub, good beers and friendly staff. Menu is a little unexciting & there were no starters but the chilli was ...nicely presented and husband really rated the ham egg & chips. The ham hock hash looked great & desserts were excellent. A little odd that our bottles of prossecco were served unopened & glasses were not the cleanest but those are minor points. Good value, decent pub food & a great location. See more

Our roasts arrived quickly with great presentation and so yummy and filling we all ate the lot! We each had a different homemade pudding with every one delicious. Our little boys were provided with st...icker books and high chairs - very child friendly. Overall a chilled and enjoyable lunch with friends where 2hours flew by! See more

Wow... we came here on a Tuesday night for my birthday as a family.
Always wanted to try the place, so glad we finally did! Children had lasagne and the pasta dish which they both loved.. a nice chang...e from the usual nuggets and chips they normally have.. my wife had ham egg and chips but asked to change to potatoes, not a problem.
I had the special board rump steak, I also asked if possible to have prawns with the steak as surf n turf... not a problem, steak was the best seasoned steak I have had in ages and I am very particular about my food!! Prawns not over cooked and seasoned amazingly... onion rings massive and very filling side salad beautiful, coleslaw was very tasty too... French fries as expected gorgeous too with once again just the right seasoning added to them.

The chef deserves more than a pat on the back, the steaks taste better than Marco Pierre whites steakhouse steaks!!

Bar/staff lovely and welcoming and very friendly

Will be back again.
